About The Event

Program to commemorate wafat of Sayyida Fatima A.S. has been scheduled for Friday December 6th, 2024 starting at 7:00 PM.

Through pain and longing, Palestinians draw strength from their heritage, rediscovering the wisdom of ancient farming, the rhythm of their traditions, and the unbreakable bonds of family. Each connection is an act of reclaiming what was once lost, a testament to resilience and hope.

Our guest speaker, Ala Hasan, though not raised in the land of her ancestors, carries the spirit of Palestine deeply embedded in her identity. Ala will share a brief account of her family’s history in Palestine and the profound impact of the ongoing genocide on her extended family and community.

In honoring the legacy of Sayyida Fatimah (AS) on the occasion of her wafat, Ala will also offer actionable steps our community can take to support those in need and embody the values of compassion and justice.
