Crescent Moon for the Month of Jumādá al-ākhirah 1446 AH
There were verified sightings of the crescent moon by the naked eye at sunset on Monday, December 2nd, 2024, from different locations in the USA that would be applicable to us here in the Greater Seattle area.
Therefore, Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024, will be the first day of the month of Jumada al-Akhira, 1446 A.H.

Happy Holidays
As we near the end of another remarkable year, we want to take a moment to extend our heartfelt greetings and warm wishes to each and every one of you. It has been a year of growth, learning, and unity, and we are truly blessed to share this journey with such a vibrant and compassionate community.
The holiday season offers us a time for reflection, gratitude, and togetherness. It reminds us to pause and appreciate the many blessings in our lives, both big and small. We are deeply grateful for your unwavering support and dedication, which have made IMAN a spiritually vibrant, caring, and inclusive space.
May this joyous occasion bring peace, happiness, and prosperity to you and your loved ones.
As we reflect on the year past, let us look forward with renewed hope and optimism for the year ahead. As we say goodbye to 2024, let us continue strengthening the bonds of friendship, respect, and understanding within our community.
In the coming year, may we be granted good health, countless blessings, and opportunities for both personal and collective growth. Let us work together to foster an environment of compassion. Embracing the diversity that makes our community so unique and rich in spirit, we find strength, unity, and the ability to uplift one another, ensuring that all are welcomed and valued.
May the new year bring a sense of joy, success, and spiritual fulfillment to you and your loved ones. Let us remember that the true essence of community lies in lifting each other up, working toward a collective purpose rooted in love, respect, and understanding.
As we celebrate this festive season, let us also offer our prayers for a world of peace, justice, and reconciliation—whether in Israel and Palestine or any other part of the world facing human conflict. Our hearts remain with those who suffer, and we continue to advocate for an end to injustice, occupation, and oppression everywhere. May we work toward a future where all children, regardless of where they are from, can grow up in an environment where safety, freedom, and the pursuit of happiness are accessible to all.
As we look to the future, let us remain committed to the values that unite us, and may the year ahead be filled with hope, healing, and peace for all.
Preparing the blood supply is our number one priority this winter
The anticipation of snow leaves Bloodworks with one thought: are we prepared to meet local blood needs?
Winter storms can quickly deplete our blood supply.
Through any weather, patients in our community depend on transfusions to survive cancer, traumas, and bleeding disorders.
You can help our community be ready for whatever the weather brings by making an appointment today to donate blood at the IMAN Center on Thursday, December 26.
IMAN Center Remodel
Attached are the latest floor plans and design updates from our Project Architect, Paul Wu. These revisions address many of the concerns previously raised in the feedback received.
Paul and his team will continue to refine and resolve the remaining design and construction issues, including necessary modifications from all other disciplines such as Energy, Fire, Structural, MPE, Civil, and Landscape. They are also in the process of refining the 3-D model and design details, which will be updated here on this blog post as soon as available.
As we approach a key milestone in finalizing the site layout, we request that everyone review the schematics carefully. This will allow us to move forward with engaging the engineering teams for the next phase of detailed design.
Thank you for your attention to these important updates.
