Ḥājjī Zafar ʿAlī Qureshi

With deep sorrow and profound sadness, we share the passing of Ḥājjī Zafar ʿAlī Qureshi, beloved son of Ḥājjī Muḥammad Bukhsh Qureshi and Ḥājjah Ghulam Jannat Qureshi, and loving father of Sr. Sumaira, Sr. Humaira, and Sr. Robina.

Ḥājjī Zafar ʿAlī Qureshi passed away at the age of 89 in Lahore, Pakistan, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was laid to rest today, Sunday, September 13, 2026.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Qureshi family during this time of immense loss. May Almighty Allah (SWT) envelop the Marḥūm in His infinite mercy, grant him eternal peace and forgiveness, and bestow patience, strength, and comfort upon his loved ones as they navigate this difficult time. Āmīn.

In honor of the Marḥūm’s memory and as a means of offering spiritual benefit, we humbly request all Muʾminīn and Muʾmināt to recite Sūrat al-Fātiḥah and offer Ṣalāt al-Waḥshah or Ṣalāt-e-Hadiya-e-Mayyit for the Īṣāl al-Thawāb of his soul.

May our prayers and remembrance serve as a source of mercy for the Marḥūm and comfort and solace for his grieving family.

May Allah (SWT) grant him a lofty station in the hereafter and give his family ṣabr and strength. Āmīn.
