Everyone Is Welcome
IMAN programs and activities are open to everyone. Whether you come to pray, learn, meet others, serve the community, or simply learn more about Islam and IMAN, you are welcome here.
In addition to our daily prayers and weekly programs, IMAN hosts and commemorates a variety of events throughout the year. On special occasions, we invite speakers from near and far, with diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise, to share their knowledge, insights, and experiences with our community.

Learn About Islam and IMAN
We are happy to arrange special educational sessions for individuals, families, schools, and community groups who would like to learn more about Islam or IMAN.

What Should I Wear?
Islam encourages both men and women to dress modestly and respectfully. For most IMAN programs and events, business-casual attire is appropriate. As a general guideline, clothing should cover the arms and legs and avoid low-cut or revealing tops.
If you are unsure about what to wear, please don't hesitate to contact us. We would rather welcome you as you are than have uncertainty about dress keep you from visiting.
What Should I Expect?
If this is your first visit to a Muslim place of worship, here are a few things that may be helpful to know:
- Shoes: It is customary to remove shoes before entering the prayer area. Please look for the designated area for shoes when you arrive.
- Head covering: Women generally cover their hair with a scarf in the prayer area. Scarves are available at IMAN for visitors who need one.
- Greetings: Some Muslim men and women do not shake hands with someone of the opposite gender. A smile and a warm verbal greeting are always welcome.
- Seating: Traditionally, Muslims may sit on the floor during prayer and other activities in the prayer hall. Chairs are available for anyone who prefers or needs to sit in a chair.
- Prayer: Visitors are welcome to observe a prayer or participate as appropriate. If you have questions about what is happening, please feel free to ask.
Accessibility
Our building is wheelchair accessible, and we want everyone to be able to participate comfortably. If you have accessibility or seating needs, please let us know in advance so that we can make appropriate arrangements.
